I had a pretty busy week off, as they go. There was a day in Richmond, a day discussing weddings over champagne and pastry, a week in Somerset, and a day in Windsor.
Accompanying me was my trusty Pentax MZ-50. It’s the best camera I’ve ever owned, and if I could afford it, I’d shoot film on it every day. I wasn’t that happy with the contrast and cropping on some of the frames (but I guess that’s what I get for entrusting my film to a clearly understaffed Boots).
The squirrels in Richmond really enjoyed my Cinnamon Swirl Cake – as did we, of course. We had a pretty good day, food wise – there was also a pistachio pastry in our favourite cafe, copious amounts of blood orange San Pellegrino, lots of taster nibbles at the Wholefood Market, and then a Prezzo meal in the evening.
Lovely people at Sloane Square, Strand, Southbank.
(Ok, so that last set was actually the weekend before my week off, but I like them).
